Aircraft to Pangandaran Susi AirA flight service from Jakarta or Bandung is available for you to Pangandaran. Travel faster to spent more time in Pangandaran,  the pride of West Java tourism.

Transportation is a mean to get somebody move to one place by vehicles. It is a way to make a location accessible. A tourism place should be reachable at least by land and, if short travel time is your concern, an aircraft of course will do.

Pangandaran, the pride of West Java tourism, is a travel destination accessible by aircraft. The one and only airline provides a flight from Jakarta to Pangandaran is Susi Air. Susi Pudjiastuti is the founder of the airline and now she serves as Indonesian Minister of Marine and Fishery (you might know her all over the news for her distinct style and personality). Susi Air now operates 50 small aircrafts and serves routes from 23 operational bases all over Indonesia.

To go to Pangandaran from Jakarta by an aircraft, you have to go to Halim Perdanakusuma Airport. A DAMRI bus is available for service to take you from Soekarno-Hatta International Airport to  Halim Perdanakusuma Airport and the rate for this service is IDR 30.000. You may check the available flight to Pangandaran in Susi air website. Some flights are in the morning (06.00 - 09.00 AM) and the rate is around IDR 800.000. A flight to Pangandaran is about an hour travel time (traveling by bus is about 10 to 12 hours) and you will arrive at Nusawiru Airport, Pangandaran. A land transportation service is available at Nusawiru to take you to Pangandaran beach or Batu Karas which are just about 30 or 45 minutes away.

From Bandung, the central government of West Java, you will depart from Husein Sastranegara Airport.

Taking land route or air route are your concerns. It's depends on your plans. If you want to get to Pangandaran faster, take air route. If you think that the longer travel time is enjoyable, take slower route by land vehicle. It's up to your choice.
